Attending the VCDL Lobby Day Rally in Richmond, VA

I was honored to attend the VCDL Lobby Day Rally in Richmond Virginia recently. I went to go take a look-see at how the people stood up to the anti-gun tyrant Ralph Northam.

I have been arguing for some months now, that we are only one General Election away from everything happening in Virginia right now coming to North Carolina, and I went to support the people, and the get a feel for what was going on. While there, I ran into NC House Members Michael Speciale, Keith Kidwell, and Bobby Hanig.

What I found was tens of thousands of patriots from every conceivable faction, color, and creed standing up for the quintessentially American Right to Bear Arms.

It was an amazing and beautiful day, a day which I hope and pray will never need to be repeated in North Carolina.

And here is where I want to implore the good conservatives and liberty people of the Old North State.

Understand that the General Assembly and Council of State elected in NC during “zero years” 1980, 1990, 2000, 2010, and 2020 are in charge of drawing the legislative and congressional districts, and for 140 years North Carolina Democrats have been gerrymandering worse than anywhere else in the United States, with not a word breathed by the Courts.

If we let the Democrats take control of the Legislature and the Council of State, and the Governor’s Mansion in 2020, we will see every abuse happening now in Virginia happening here in North Carolina.

We need to stand up and vote Republican in every State level office in North Carolina come November, or we are going to be in real trouble. We need to hit a 75% to 90% turnout in the General Election just to stay afloat!

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have always voted purely on principle, and never by Party, and I have encouraged others to do the same. I have also been, prior to 2005, a one-issue (Gun Rights) voter.

If we give up our State level government to Democrats in 2020, our gun rights are as good as dead.

I am asking, pleading with all my liberty, constitutional, and traditionally conservative friends to please consider taking a hard-line Republican vote this November for ALL State level offices. Particularly State House, State Senate, Attorney General, Lt Governor and Governor, and the rest of the Council of State.

We can go back to a principled hard line in 2022, but for now we desperately need to make sure that nobody is thrust into power who will infringe against our God-given right to keep and bear arms!
